This adorable little bitty pitty girl joined us today. Her new name is Kona and she's got a ways to go for recovery but the shelter has taken wonderful care of her. She's just 30 pounds and has a horrible degloving injury (all the skin peeled off like a glove, leaving exposed tissue, bones and tendons) to her foot. We'll continue her ongoing treatment with our vets.
