Darling standard poodle Keke was surrendered to a shelter with her sister at almost ten years of age for an interesting reason. Her owner stated that the dogs are prejudiced against black people, even though he himself is black and he said the dogs love him. The sister was adopted from the shelter but Keke had no interest. She’s well adjusted , friendly and easy to handle and appears to have been well cared for. We’re told she’s good with people and likes other dogs but not with smaller animals like cats and chickens. She’s overweight at 80 pounds and should probably be 70-75. We’ll update more as we get to know her. Available soon.
