I've found my furever family!

Barbie was originally one of two pregnant dogs we picked up a few years ago from a Stockton homeless camp in the middle of the night. She was owned by an elderly homeless man who let us take her in to whelp her but he loved her and the agreement was that we would spay her and he would get her back after the pups weaned. She clearly adored him and was in good condition other than being pregnant. We delivered her pups and found homes for them, then spayed her and gave her back where they had a joyful reunion. We microchipped her back to us in case she ever got into trouble and she certainly has. She was found severely injured and taken to shelter with a broken femur on one side and a luxated hip on the other side. Her owner may now be deceased as he never came for her.
