Shadow at his persons memorial service
Shadow was kind of the town dog of Guerneville and a lot of people knew him. It was fitting to have him at his person’s memorial.
Shadow is an 11 year old labrador whose caretaker died suddenly. Shadow was with him alone for 3 days before Dogwood volunteers heard about him and got involved. He arrived with some medical issues that we’ve had addressed. A severe ear infection, some arthritis, a rotten molar and he needed a neuter.
He's a jaunty friendly guy, sweet with dogs of all sizes, cats, goats and chickens. He has a tough time with non-carpeted floors - once he's up and going outside he happily enjoys a senior paced stroll. He has a typical lab appetite so very easy to medicate."
We’ve had this guy all fixed up and look forward to finding him a loving new home.
