Jewell

Doberman Pinscher - Adult - Female
Adoptable Medium Routine shots are current

Blue Doberman girl Jewell comes from Willits, Mountain Dog Rescue, for some extra TLC. She appears to be young based on nice teeth, probably 2-3 years old. They said she was left tied to the front of the local animal control during the night. She is recovering from demodex and is very timid and needs to build some self-confidence, but is already making progress in her foster home. So far she is ignoring chickens. Has met other dogs well. She is crate trained (she feels safe in her crate and needs coaxing to leave it). She is good on a leash. We are working on house training. This is a very gentle dog who gives sweet licks and hand nuzzles. We think she is a ‘diamond in the rough’ like many pups Dogwood takes under their wings.

Dogwood dogs are in placement for a minimum of 2 weeks and at least 8 weeks of age before being eligible for adoption. Dogs with medical conditions usually have 6 to 8 weeks recovery before becoming available for adoption.
