Rubi - The Dogwood Animal Rescue Project

Dobie girl Rubi is your basic hot mess but she’s a happy affectionate girl who loves attention and adventures.

Please note, Dogwood is a quality of life rescue, rather than a life at all cost rescue. We assess her condition daily and she is so joyful, exuberant and happy. She’s not in pain, has a fabulous appetite and loves everyone she meets on two or four legs. Rubi loves to cuddle and play with toys, people and other dogs.

Rubi has some serious limitations to her front legs and her mobility and functionality are quite affected. We’re still working with our veterinary team looking into causes and solutions. You’d have to look hard to find a friendlier, more joyful girl though.

Rubi is a 4 month old Doberman puppy who came to us with very little information after being passed around a bit.
