Hard Luck Chuck is continuing his recovery and we might need to rename him, perhaps Love Bug Chuck, because despite all that he’s been through, he’s just the sweetest boy!

Chuck stays busy exploring his surroundings, looking for sunshine to doze in, wagging his tail, and loves all the attention from his foster family and the Vet’s Office where he goes for treatments every other day.

Chuck loves people and other dogs and cats!

Chuck may have been injured when hit by a car, and he appears to be part Pug … a Chug… Pug X Chihuahua mix. He weighs 14 pounds and might be 5 years old.

He was rescued, severely injured, from an overcrowded shelter.
In the care of Dogwood, Chuck has had multiple surgeries.

He still has the smile of a Pirate.
