Domestic Medium Hair - Adult - Female
Adoptable Small Neutered/SpayedRoutine shots are current

This lovely girl was recently rescued from a truck stop in Lodi by some of our volunteers. She and another super sweet black kitty boy were begging outside the door and were part of a group of 15 or so that we’re told were abandoned there. Our volunteers brought in Jayde and Jace and we’re trying to find someone in the Lodi area to help trap and spay/neuter the remaining kitties. Jayde and Jace were treated for fleas, wormed and vaccinated on intake, then off to the vet for check-ups, neuter, rabies vaccines, combo testing, and microchips.

Jayde tested negative. Unfortunately, like a lot of intact males, Jace is FIV positive. Many cats can live long healthy lives with FIV and can even live with other cats that do not have the infection as long as they get along. FIV is spread by deep bite wounds and breeding so altered cats that live peacefully are considered safe. He and his companion Jayde would make a fabulous pair as they get along great. Please read the link for more info, and consider adopting a special needs guy like Jace.
